Our connections abroad

External relations
After Hungary has joined the EU, the possibility to visit foreign universities to exchange experiences or to study abroad has increased for the university students. Besides the LLP/ERASMUS programmes of the TEMPUS Public Founds, these are also available through the professional relationships of the diverse majors (tourism, hotel industry, social pedagogy, recreation and health, andragogy, primary teaching, special needs pedagogy).

So far our students could do their teaching practice in abroad mainly in foreign language cultural domains. Our international relations have grown:

Within these relations our teachers visited foreign partner institutions about fifty times in the last three years.

Via connections of fine arts, music, sport and sciences about 150 students went to abroad individually or as a member of a group. (24 students took part in camps of fine arts, 76 students as members of a musical ensemble, the others as members of Faculty or departmental delegations).

Within the framework of ERASMUS student mobility 25-30 Hungarian students studied in abroad for three or four months, and we received 5-10 foreign students at our Faculty in academic year.

Within the framework of ERASMUS teacher mobility 5 teachers taught in foreign partner institutions (and 3-4 outgoing staff) and 5 foreign teachers gave courses at our Faculty (and 5-6 incoming staff).
